We offer traditional Sunday lunch and delicious home cooked food throughout the week and weekends.

Reducing our impact on the planet one pint at a time
Sustainability is embedded in our day-to-day operation. We recycle wherever possible and have removed single-use plastics from our business. Our kitchen takes a ‘waste nothing’ approach, repurposing food off-cuts into stocks and gravies rather than sending valuable ingredients to waste. Even our empty food tubs are given to local farmers to repurpose as animal feeders, extending their useful life and reducing waste.
We have partnered with Yorwaste Yorkshire leading waste management company to help us in our journey to reducing our carbon foot print.
We encourage our team to car share where practical, helping reduce our environmental footprint.
Helping to build futures & change lives through hospitality
We are passionate advocates for hospitality, we are deeply involved with The Hospitality Junior Board a place for young people to grow & develop their skills.
In our quest to advancing the sector and supporting emerging young talent. We also work closely with ‘Rise and Serve’, providing young people who are not in eduction or work with hands-on experience and the confidence to enter employment. We are delighted to be hosting the second cohort at The Wenlock Arms from September 2026 and currently employ three graduates from the first.
These young people are the future of hospitality and we will continue to work closely with the Hospitality Junior Board, Rise & Serve & Any other leading projects that provide a safe place for these amazing young people to learn & grow there skills.

Yes we do allow dogs, we have tables near the main bar where you can enjoy your meal with your furry family member.

Yes we do cater for vegan, vegetarian and allergies. Just make sure you let us know when you book, or on arrival.

Yes we do. We have direct access from our front door which leads straight into the bar and restaurant. Along with wheelchair accessible toilets.

We cater for a whole host of functions and events. These include meetings, weddings, funerals, clubs, birthday parties, wedding anniversaries and special occasions and also fund raising events.
